My wife and I have since been back twice. The first time I had the Adult Mac & Cheese, which was pretty good, though not spectacular (4 star on that meal). The next time I had an exceptionally good burger. My wife has also enjoyed each of her meals. The service is always good and helpful.

I went with my mom for dinner, food was amazing and the service was great. I had the bruschetta salad with steak. I loved it! This is the second time I have come here while visiting family and a great place that makes me feel like I am eating at one of my favorite eateries in Chicago.

I had chicken alfredo, and one time i had their salmon with asparagus. Service was good, went there at sunday brunch too and that was good, i remember getting 5 cinnamon rolls, wished they had good coffee for brunch. And now I always get their Asian salad

Definitely would go back for great food and beer selection! It's a good amount of food for your dollar. We had the Idaho nachos which were a little over seasoned but good. We had their beer sampler and it was worth 5 bucks! Definitely a neat atmosphere and worth going back to!

Went here with a large party of friends and I thought the service was excellent. The inside is very nicely decorated. The Idaho Nachos were quite tasty. I very much enjoyed the London Broil. I didn't think the texture was perfect but the flavor was very good. We also had someone buy us a dessert here (IF you have room afterwards). They've got TV's too for watching the game! Looks like it would be a great place for lunch.

The food is usually pretty good, but the service is hit and miss. The beer isn't really brewed on site, just fermented after arriving in big tanker trucks. The atmosphere is very nice for a casual dining restaurant.

I haven't tried everything, but the salads and buffalo wings are amazing! The bluecheese dressing was extra chunky and delish! Great happy hours menu as well!

i love their pretzel and cheese dip. their bbq chicken thin crust pizza. they have good beer as well, it is a place to go if you want to have beer in a nice atmosphere, and be able to watch stuff on TV. i love their brunch on sundays, they do great poached eggs, and you are able to add to whatever u want to on your poached eggs. however the price is kinda of high if you want to eat here.

This restaurant gets 5 stars for service. No other place I go to on a regular basis, is as consistent as the people that work here. The manager will go out of his way to do anything if you are not happy with something. They really do make you feel that they care about your experience there. The Sunday brunch is the best in town. The items on the main menu are a little pricier than average. The food can be great one day, and average another day. But I can not say that I have had anything bad here. I'm not very impressed with their craft beers, but I know other people that seem to like them. The only one that I enjoyed was called the Two Pull.

I was here one weekend with my niece. Stopped here before heading out to town for some fun that night. Very friendly bartenders and it was a great experienced for a visitor like me.

I have been to this location of Granite a good number of times for lunch/brunch and "Happy Hour". The only rub I have if any is the TV locations in the bar are waaaay to high above the back bar. You have to really crane your neck to watch anything. The food is really quite good and the service is consistently good as well. I like the atmosphere, too. I'll be back again!

I have been to a few GC's in my time, including living near the one in Olathe. This one was just like the rest - good food, a bit on the pricey side, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly enough, but just not quite as friendly as I am used to at other GC locations. I was in town on business and it seemed like I was the only person at the bar who wasn't a regular, and they bartenders didn't act like they wanted me to be a regular. They opened up a bit over time, but not much.

Whats better than beer and food!? Well I'm glad you asked! Awesome food and 100's of choices of beer! We got the classic pepperoni flat bread pizza for an app. this alone was very good. Crisp flat bread. Tasty toppings. I probably would/could of been happy with this alone. I got the Top Sirloin. This steak was juicy and seasoned well. Topped with crispy onions. Served with raggiano hasbrowns. All so very good... Not one complaint at all... My better half got the London Broil cooked medium.. I asked how to describe how good it was .. most i cant type here. So lets just say... it was extremely tasty. We all got beer from the tap... The hubs got copper ale. Very good. I got the Northern Light Lager I cant remember the exact term they used but it was made euro.. it was the lager added with lemon lime soda. it was very good... Yes the faithful beer drinkers will just keel over but it was seriously very good! The waiter was very friendly and even offered to take our photo :)

I love Granite City and I especially love this location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always have really good specials at lunch. I wish that they offered a Mug Club with personalized mugs but maybe I am high maintenance. The patio is great when the weather is nice, because it sits by a little pond.

The flat bread pizza was amazing! This was the first time I have been to Granite City. The clerk at the hotel I am at directed me here, and I am very glad she did! I have stayed in Wichita many many time. I love the city and the welcoming atmosphere here. The ambiance and food here was great. Now I am eternally grateful that I was introduced to Granite City. I will definitely come back!

We had a great dinner at this Granite City. The service was wonderful. We arrived on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, but we sat in a booth near the bar. Seconds after sitting down, the manager Morgan walked up and told us that our server was a little busy but that he could take our drink orders. He was friendly and helpful. Our server, Ellen, then arrived and filled us in on the specials. It was my first time there, so she gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and make our selections. We ordered the tomato basil flatbread as an appetizer. (Half price on Sundays.) It came out quickly, and it was delicious. For our entrees, I had the shrimp taco trio. The tacos were a lot spicier than I thought they would be, but the extra kick was good. Halfway through our meal, Morgan, the manager, stopped by to ask if the tacos were too spicy. I told him they were awesome. I was very pleased with my meal. My partner had the Chicago Style Prime Beef sandwich with the garlic mashed potatoes as the side. She was very pleased with her meal. The restaurant was a little noisy, but we were near the bar and that was OK. We definitely heard a lot of the conversations going on around us, but it wasn't overwhelming or too annoying. The service is really what made our visit great. Morgan and Ellen were very attentive and helpful, without pestering us like in other restaurants. We'll definitely be going back.

My husband and I are regulars at this location. In fact, we are such regulars we are known by name and have a VIP card. We love to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders and waitstaff. Food is delicious, hubby loves the beers they make here, it's always clean and friendly here. Some of my favorites include the Salmon Oscar, Surf N Turf, the Thursday soup of the day-chicken tortilla, the Cuban sandwich, Adult Mac and Cheese, and the shrimp taco trio. The brunch on the weekend rocks. We've gone here many times with friends and family, and everyone finds something good on the menu. It's our go-to spot.

We got sat next to the brunch buffet on Sunday. There were about 5 flies bugging the hell out of us at our table. A fly started doing the back stroke in my girlfriend's Oscar Salmon dish. She told our waitress she would not be finishing her plate, all the while flies buzzing around. Out waitress, who was very understanding, got the manager, who apologized profusely, rushed my girlfriend out another Oscar Salmon, free of charge, boxed it up for her, as I was finished eating at this point, and gave us two complimentary brunches (which we'll be using in the winter, damn flies). The manager, Keith, went above and beyond our expectations. Great customer service, and delicious food. I mean, as far as flies go, what are they going to do? Swat flies with a swatter while the church crowd eats? Not likely. I still give the place 5 stars.

First, let me say the people, atmosphere, and beer are great. The food is what lets this restaurant down. It is the usual mix of heavy pastas, meat dishes, pizza, and burgers. It is a step up from say an Applebees, but the food is still heavy, unimaginative, and such large portions that it boggles the mind. I had a shrimp, mussel, and pasta dish that came with a marinara sauce that was supposed to have a hint of cream. I gained 5 pounds just looking at it. The taste was uninspiring and frankly, not very good. My partner had a salad that was supposed to have pork. Her repeated comment during the meal was, "where is the pork?". We did have a couple of nice beers, and in anticipation of future trips we did join their beer club which will give us discounts. I would not tell people to stay away from this restaurant, but, if you are looking for a different type of dinning experience other than "Midwestern", you will need to look elsewhere.

I love the food here, it's always fresh tasting and consistent. Managers have always visited our table to ask how we are doing. Servers top notch! My only complaint, and it spans both this one and the Webb location, is that servers tend to get defensive when questioned about ingredients. If I ask, there is a reason. Don't tell me, "We don't give out the recipe" when I ask you if there is sour cream in a dip. I don't care about your recipe, I care that I don't want to pay for my meal later with stomach cramps. It maddens me to get this same kind of response every.single.flipping.time I ask about ingredients! People care about what is in their food unless they only eat at McDonald's!

Granite City used to have a very special place in my heart. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable and their Beers are all amazing. To this day I will still say they have the best restaurant brewed beers. Recently, however, they have had an overhaul. The menu is completely changed and not for the better in my opinion. All of the things I used to love are gone: the Meat Loaf, the Pork Chops, The Napa Valley burge, the Artichoke Dip and the London Broil, all gone. I'm all for updating a menu, but now I have no reason to eat there. The new menu is medioce at best. The food all tastes pre-packaged and bland. The stuff they kept seems to have gotten cheaper as well, but they didn't hesitate to raise all the prices. The wait staff has all changed since the reboot... The best way I can describe it is by saying that on our last visit we got our appetizer before our drinks... Which were waters. I don't really know what happened first, did the new staff cause the food quality to change or did the new menu force them to hire new wait staff... My best advice would be to build a time machine and go to Granite City in 2009.

Not impressed. The service was good, but the food is just ok. For the price you pay I don't find it worth it. My favorite dish is the fish tacos, really the only item I have had from here. It seems like my coworkers like to go here so I have been several time. If I had to pay for the meal I would never go.

Appetizers are unique and very tasty. If you Ike micro brews you'll find something for the tastebuds. Sunday brunch is awesome.

My wife and friend eat there tonight. She ordered the creamy potato soup, which was missing the creamy part. She also ordered the guacamole burger and found the hard button on top of the avocado shell in her burger. My son ordered the Mac and cheese and loved it My wife said the staff was friendly and they adjusted our tab to take care of the issues and apologized. She said she would try it again, hopefully it will be much better.
